Recently there was 2011 U.N. Conference on Climate Change in Durban. On this conference companies presented new ideas of green houses and estimations how efficient these systems are and if nations can afford them. All specialists made a conclusion, that having a green house you save money. Of course, it isn’t cheap to use eco-friendly technologies to build a house of this kind, but if future you won’t have any expenses. The biggest problem in building green cities if in poor countries like Bangladesh, where living conditions are very bad. CNN had an interview with several specialists in this sphere: Mary Robinson, former Irish President, Pan Jiahua, advisor to the Chinese delegation at the conference, Elliot Diringer, former adviser to the Bill Clinton's U.S.

presidential administration and Kumi Naidoo, executive director of Greenpeace International.

Today we have a tendency in the world of increasing number of cars and other mechanism, developing of nuclear energy and so on. But it is time to think about rechargeable energy sources and greener planet. People who took part in negotiation Kyoto protocol are very disappointed, because everything goes too slow. It is already 15 years when everything goes in circles and countries including the United States are still not ready for that.

CNN asked four environment specialist to comment the greenest cities and models we should prosper to. Mary Robinson likes Scandinavian models, using of solar energy and making slum areas greener.

Kumi Naidoo thinks that it is important to develop every detail of the city from top to bottom. Not only building make energy-efficient but think how long it takes people to get to work and back, how often they have to use different kinds of transport, what kind they are and so on.

Pan Jiahua thinks that China is the most advanced in this concern. This country has very clear targets in this matter, besides to-third of cities have low carbon planning already today.
